Sunlight peeking in through the blinds this morning as I sipped my coffee. Happy Thursday! It sprinkled a little earlier but now it's a beautiful day and I am excited to get some work done.
The thing I miss most about this place is the hiking and insane natural beauty. Grateful to have been able to make it for a short visit to support one of my best friends before she brings her first little person into the world!
Excited to have these oil diffusing bud vases up in my shop 😍 I've had questions about my clay choice and why I don't use porcelain. Porcelain is beautiful but It just doesn't add the earthiness and contrast that I love. Plus, I'm a tactile person and after a light sanding these rough stonewares just feel soooo darn good!!
I am grateful to have such an amazing studio so close to home🙌 For those of you in LA who have messaged me about taking lessons, I'm not able to fit teaching in at the moment however I highly recommend @glaze_thepotterystudio in Atwater. They offer regular classes and monthly memberships in case you get hooked 😊 Plus, they are some of the kindest people I've met since moving here.
